Pleasure Selzer Thurston, age 73, of Desloge handed away on Thursday, August 3, 2023, peacefully alongside her son Pete Selzer III and her wiener canine Winnie. Pleasure was born on Wednesday, December 14, 1949, to the late Fred and Jean (Bridges) Sapper.
Along with her dad and mom and son, she was preceded in dying by first husband Pete Selzer Jr,; sisters, Rita and Reta Sapper; in-laws, Pete and Virginia Selzer; sister-in-law, Janet Home; second husband, Harold Thurston; his mom, Betty Thurston.
Pleasure is survived by her loving daughters Tracy (Rob) Burns and Carmen (Dewayne) Higgins, grandchildren Casey and Rion Burns, Madison Nohren, Future Higgins and Bailea Higgins; 4 step-children, Mendy (Josh) Findley, Jamie (Ken) Thurston, Travis Thurston and Robie (Allison) Thurston; 5 great-grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; sister, Becky Sapper; brothers, Greg (Kathy) Sapper and Joe Sapper; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law; beloved international alternate college students; bonus kids, Montse and Christina together with different household and mates survive.
Pleasure was a bus monitor for Particular Acres State College and a member of Delassus Baptist Church. She was everybody’s buddy and beloved going locations and staying busy. Should you requested her to go someplace she packed her dancing footwear and was able to go. She was the middle of the universe to her kids and grandchildren. She taught them to like deeply and keep loyal. She shall be missed past measure.
Visitation shall be held on Sunday, August 6, 2023, from 4:00 PM till 9:00 PM at C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral House in Desloge. Visitation will resume on the funeral dwelling on Monday, August 7, 2023, from 11:00 AM till service time of 1:00 PM. with Pastor Chuck Lotz officiating. Burial to comply with at St. Francois Memorial Park in Bonne Terre. Household requested that memorials be made in reminiscence of Pleasure to the selection of the donor.
