Extremely touted singer-songwriter Pleasure Olad0kun will headline the AB Block Get together, a brand new Nashville pageant happening over Labor Day weekend at Hillsboro Village with a concentrate on various musicians from Tennessee and throughout the South.
Going down on September 4, the all-ages occasion can even characteristic performances by Daniel Nunnelee, Southern Avenue, Brooke Alexx, Denitia, Jack Schneider, Leon Majcen and Nashville’s Grace Bowers, Paul McDonald, and comic Josh Black. Nashville mayoral candidate Freddie O’Connell will do a particular DJ set, and WKRN anchor Blake Eason will function emcee.
Produced by AB Hillsboro Village co-owners Marcie Allen and Derek Van Mol, the AB Block Get together will happen within the Belcourt Theatre’s car parking zone at 2102 Belcourt Avenue. The pageant is free, with a recommended donation of $20 to help the Belcourt Theatre’s ongoing mission to offer unbiased cinema and humanities schooling. Along with music and comedy that runs from 1-11pm on Labor Day, the AB Block Get together can even characteristic meals vans and plenty of distributors from across the metropolis. Unbiased Nashville radio station, Lightning 100, is the occasion’s media associate.
“We’re excited to convey an inclusive array of performers to the pageant as we rejoice the return of stay music to Hillsboro Village,” says Allen. “Folks, rock, pop, R&B, soul, and nation are simply a few of the genres represented. And It’s no accident that the artists are much more various than their genres. One factor they do have in frequent, although, is that many hail from Nashville, with a lot of the relaxation from different factors in Tennessee and the South. Nashville has multiple sound, and we wish folks to listen to their voices.”
